SHOULD I EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE BREAK OUT AFTER MY FACIAL SERVICE?
The short answer is no. The products we use are not irritating to the skin and should not cause breakout to surface, you should leave your service feeling relaxed, and rejuvenated.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPERIENCE AFTER MY FACIAL?
You will leave your service feeling hydrated and relaxed and your skin will look healthy and glowing. Evening appointments will be prepped for their night time routine and will not require any care that evening. Day-time appointments will be protected with SPF for the day and should be cleansed again in the evening.
SHOULD I HAVE A FACIAL BEFORE AN IMPORTANT EVENT?
Absolutely! Your skin will look healthy and glowing directly after your service.
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Of course! a deep cleansing service is always provided and will remove any dirt, oil or debris from your skin.
SHOULD I HAVE A FACIAL IF I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN?
Yes. There are many factors involved in sensitive skin and sometimes a facial service can help determine what may be causing this. A lot of times what clients are using at home can be the cause or the solution for sensitive skin.
SHOULD I HAVE A FACIAL SERVICE IF I'M PREGNANT?
Yes. Facials during pregnancy are especially important for many reasons. Your skin can be reflective of the hormonal changes occurring within your body and having regular services can help alleviate some of the symptoms( i.e. breakout, increased redness and sensitivity) when your usual products may be off-limits. Facials can also be a wonderful relaxation tool which can keep your blood pressure at a healthy level.
MAY I HAVE A WAXING SERVICE DURING MY FACIAL?
Yes. This is done routinely and is no problem to accommodate.
DO FACIALS HURT?
Facials are designed to be a relaxing experience, but sometimes clients main concern is to remove blackheads and white head from their skin. This portion can be slightly uncomfortable but is always optional and our products can be just as effective in sloughing away dirt and oil from the skin.
SHOULD I WEAR CONTACTS OR GLASSES TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We suggest wearing glasses to your appointment that you will remove during your service, this is for your comfort and not a requirement.
Hydrafacial FAQ’s
WHAT IS HYDRAFACIAL?
Hydrafacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation. The Hydrafacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR HYDRAFACIAL?
The Hydrafacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the Hydrafacial treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. Consult your physician or skincare professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity test.
HOW LONG DOES THIS TREATMENT TAKE? IS THERE ANY PAIN OR DOWNTIME INVOLVED?
Our goal is to help support you in a balanced lifestyle. That’s why a Hydrafacial treatment is fast and efficient treatment, taking as little as 30 minutes. You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
WHAT RESULTS SHOULD BE EXPECTED? HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued Hydrafacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

Airbrush/Spray Tanning FAQ’s
HOW TO PREP BEFORE THE SESSION?
Take a shower at least 3 hours before the appointment
Shave, wax OR exfoliate* the skin at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. It's important to allow the amino acids to reconstruct as DHA needs amino acids to develop. Also, the pores need time to close before the application otherwise it may leave dark spots.
Do not use lotion, gel, wax shaving cream or other oil based products as they could leave residues on the skin and prevent the solution from developing correctly.
Do not wear makeup, cream, sunscreen, perfume or deodorant the day of the appointment.
Moisturize the skin days prior to the session (not the day of the appointment)
The application can be done with or without undergarments or bathing suit, for male anatomy we ask that the client wears a form of coverage on this area (speedo, swimwear, or underwear of choice).
We recommend you to wear loose and dark clothing when leaving your appointment.
*Exfoliation is the absolute key to optimal results
WHAT TO DO AFTER THE SESSION?
Avoid activities that provoke sweating or any contact with liquid during the development period. If it's raining or snowing outside, wear long clothing that cover well.
Do not apply cream or makeup on the skin during the development period
If you will be sleeping with the solution on, go to bed wearing long clothes
Wait 8 to 12 hours or 1 to 5 hours before showering, depending on the solution. Refer to your artist for the adapted delay.
Rinse the whole body and faces thoroughly. Rinse until the water is clear. For the first shower we recommend not using soap.
Moisturize the skin daily with an appropriate lotion.
Excessive sweating, jacuzzis or saunas, taking long hot baths or showers often can cause faster fading.
Do not wax areas where solution has been applied for the duration of the result. A delicate shaving may be done occasionally.
Use gentle facial cleansers, oil or exfoliation cleansers are not recommended.
Avoid lotion, soap and body wash containing mineral oils, petroleum and alcohol. These ingredients can affect the result and cause a faster fading.
Do not exfoliate the skin for the duration of the result. When the tan starts to fade, exfoliate the skin again in order to remove the old tan results.
